Back on Adderall(adderrall)

Back on Adderall(adderrall)

I'm going back to my psychiatrist in a few weeks after a year and a half break from meds.  I find myself realizing that I have not really accomplished anything in the last couple of years, ever since college ended.  I don't finishing anything that I'm working on, and I've only worked a few months of part time jobs in the last couple years.  I used to be prescribed Adderall (adderrall) and it was really the best working medication as far as my symptoms go, Concerta didn't work very well and Strattera put me into a delusional state.  Recently I've been getting Adderall (adderrall) from a friend and I'm back to my usual self.  I am quite relieved that I am seeing my doc again, it almost feels like a ton of stress if lifted and I can start to live my life again.
Is there any other new drugs on the market that work better than Adderall (adderrall)?  Can I ask him to prescribe another drug to help with the high blood pressure and tenseness associated with stimulants?  One last thing, I've noticed dexedrine worked even better for me (tried spansules through friends), should I try starting back up on Adderall (adderrall), or should I tell my doc that Dexedrine has a more therapeutic effect?  he had me on Adderall (adderrall) for years and upped the dose, but I could never consistenly take 40 mg a day because of the side effects, doesn't Dexedrine work better at a low dose than a high dose of Adderall (adderrall)
