Brother wont stop moving and making up stupid things

My brother is 10 years old and he constantly moves. Its so annoying... He makes up random words and repeats them throughout the day. He says riggy,rig,bergin-snurgin,sippy etc. All these words seem to be hilarious to him. He puts them into sentences even when he is trying to be serious. He says," Dude look at that bergin over there", or "Stop sippin on a callyway". He also makes songs up too, like "willy wan say willy wan wan say". His teacher says he doesn't "hear" her when she asks him to do things. He rushes to do his homework and writes messy. I don't know what to say anymore. He is so annoying. I'm a 14 year old big brother looking for some solutions. Please feel free to leave comments on suggestions.

Yes kids that are hyper or have adhd are annoying.  I figured out they do it for attention, good or bad kind.  Your parents have probably told you this already, but do what you can to ignore him so he will see that he can't get your attention that way.  My other two kids constanly complain about their brother making boom-box noises and "dancing with butterflies".  It drives me up the wall!  So when we are home I tell him if he wants to make noises, thats fine, but respect others by doing it somewhere else.  In the car we bring something with headphones to drown it out.  I am a step mom, so authority in discipline is limited.  But if I was his actual parent I would record it and make him listen to it for hours- thats probably mean, I know.  I think it is a complusivness and they do it more out of habit- maybe someone can correct me that.

PS I commend you as his brother seeking help for your own sanity instead of wacking him upside the head.  Good job big bro!
