Concerta / Insurance

After spending $186.00 for the generic form of concerta I'm about ready to cry... no, I have already cried. My insurance changed plans to a high deductible and now I must meet a $2500.00 in regards to my son's medication. I have already checked with medicad/medicare, the martketplace and there is nothing my insurance company nor employeer can do.
Can anyone give me any information in how I can lower my cost or perhaps is there a cheaper alternative?

Thank You!

Sadly no, my gross income is too much to be considered for the medicare part D plan.
