Could I have ADD

I did an online test for ADD and the result was 95% in favor of it. I know I can't diagnose myself especially via internet but I have been thinking maybe I do have it and what if I do? I have trouble concentrating and that was 1 of the reasons I dropped from college. I was very smart during my childhood (for my age) until the age of 12 when it all started with panic attacks.

I have many symptoms of ADD . My main problem is focusing. But I am being treated for anxiety. My shrink once long ago told me that all my symptoms are from anxiety and mild depression. Then why the symptoms of ADD are still there when my anxiety and depression is under control?

Do you guys suggest I try some meds for it if I talk to my family doctor or should I see a shrink first?

Add and ADHD are two different disorders be aware of that because if you get treatment it is 2  ways of treating one from the other

ADD is more lethargic, bare with the description, if some one with ADD smokes pot it gets them moving when for most folks it slows them down. A lathargic person given a depressant it picks them up.

ADHD if they were to use say cocain it will make them slow lathargic  tired when all the others would be hyper racing around.

i hope these simple descriptions give you an idea of the differance for get what was use it just an analagy
