Epilepsy + ADD

I'm 19 now and was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy (JME) this past March. I dont kow how many of you are familiar with it or not so I'll give a quick desription.
This is a form of epilepsy that develops during puberty. Tonic Clonic(Grand mal) seizures arent common unless it goes untreated for long periods of time (Ive had 2-went untreated for 9 yrs). I have myoclonic and absense seizures. Myoclonic: small jerk like movements. Almost like when you fall asleep and twitch and wake yourself up. It's like that but happens all day. Others dont notice it, just seems like your clumsy. Absense seizures: just seem like someone is daydreaming but nothing can get their attention. I have both.

Back to my question. I didnt get a response from the epilepsy forum so I was hoping you could help. I was wondering if there's a link between epilepsy and ADD. I heard that there might be a link and I know that its fairly common to have epilepsy patients be misdiagnosed as ADD. I'm medicated and have been seizure free for some time.

My symptoms are:
-Inattentiveness: very difficult to concentrate in school. sometimes even to watch movies.
-Memory problems/Forgetfulness: Ex. I'll ask someone a question and then ask it again 2 minutes later, not realizing  that I already asked them. I do this several times a day. I'll go in a room to do something but forget why I'm there and so on.

It just seems like everything goes in one ear and out the other. At work a coworker asked me to do a task, I couldnt figure out what he was asking me. I made him write it out and I still had trouble doing it. And it was an easy thing to do too. My thoughts are disorganized and I feel "lost" a lot of the time. It drives me nuts. My school work suffers and it takes me forever to complete tasks-sometimes they go unfinished. These things happened repeatedly throughout the day.

Could I also have ADD? Maybe it's just part of having epilepsy?

P.S. I know its not my meds- symptoms have happened for years.
