Is it possible I have ADHD

Ok so I Lunesta this to fall asleep the other night, and I couldn't!  Not because I wasn't tired, but my head was so clear, I wanted to savor the night.  I'm diagnosed with General/social anxiety and depression, but I think I really have ADHD, which caused my anxiety which caused my depression.  I have all the symptoms of it that I never realized.  It's hard for me to even function anymore, because of all my racing thoughts, which usually end up being negative.  And I took another lunesta today at work and I had barely any anxiety or depression because my head was clear and I was able to act normal(non fidgety, saying stupid stuff).  I also started taking wellbutrin along with lexapro and noticed wellbutrin works better than lexapro for me.  Which is another sign that I could have ADHD.  Does anyone in the medical field know if I possibly have ADHD?

THANKS!

Hey thank you very much.  Sorry if that didn't make a lot of sense, I was extremely exhausted last night because I'm trying to get my internal clock back on track.  So I wanted to wait till 10 p.m. to go to bed.  I was also wondering for anyone who takes Strattera(s/p), if it's anything like lunesta.  Because I tried drinking more caffine today and I was more focused and into conversations but I had terrible anxiety.  Thanks for any replies.

Hi Gdub33, I believe in doing a good deed involves helping others with some sort of direction in life.  If others help you, why not take the initiative as well... thus this response to you.

You don't get tired easily and that is a good sign. This is specially true for young people; however, if you do not sleep enough, eventually this will catch up with you (wise words).  So, if you sleep well, you'll have a clear mind.  What happens when a child or a puppy need attention all the time?: ...In both cases probably their energy level is much higher than the person experiencing what he/she considers to be a problem. The solution, use up your energy so you may get tired. You can go for a walk (15-30 minutes would help lots). You can ride a bike, join a gym, etc. (watching TV does not count).  Now, with regards to the medication you are taking, it takes about 6 weeks for it to start working and 6 months or so for you to have an idea as to the result. Likewise, you have to cut down very gradually and this process should probably take no less than 4 weeks.  So, if you are not taking the medication in a regular basis, perhaps you should and if you do not want to take it on a regular basis, you should dinminish it very gradually. Once off the medication, you can try natural alternatives like "St. John's-Worth" & even Vitamin D, but all this should be discussed with your Dr. for you to have a good opinion as to your system and your options.  I find that nature can cure most problems. This through its beauty and how it echoes into our system.  Another thing you can do is to rent the movie "The Secret" and watch it.  This will put a good positive note into your life.  Best of luck with your recovery and health.

I also drank 6 cups of coffee in the morning so I could stay awake for work.  And I felt better than I have in a year.  And I haven't had any caffine in a long time since it made me have trouble with insomnia.  But it made me feel better today.  Any feedback if I could have this would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
