Is there such a thing as too much meds?

My son is 10yrs old and is on four different medications: Tenex, Zolof, Depakote and Risperdal(new).  Now I wonder am I over medicating my son? Is his liver going to be shot by the age of 18?  He does have a lot of behavioral problems and agression and he has tics . I've tired other ADHD meds but they don't work he tends to get even more agressive. Or he starts getting his tics. Should I get him off his meds?  Or how do I get him off so many meds?

you know I have views about this but I feel you should put this question onto the ADD and ADHD Doctor forum, look at the top of the forums ,on the right, there is a Dr Resnik who is very good at answering these kind of questions about meds, my laymans/ parent answer is to wean him off them and try the supplemnts that have been shown to work, however you need your Doctors advice getting him off them.
