My 4 year old

Hi, I think my 4 year old daughter may have adhd.  I have taken quizes online and some of the question seem like her but not others.  She is really hyper, has trouble getting to sleep, sometimes she doesn't concentrate, she plays and talks very loud.  She talks very very much.  I don't know if this is just a stage or what.  She also is really whiney and trys to make adults feel sorry for her by saying her leg hurts, her stomach hurts, her hand hurts, things like that; that arnt true.  Stomach yes but not all the time.  She just has excuses that I didn't know a 4 year old can have.  I am trying everything to do something about it.  I am a single mom and going crazy

Possible physical causes for her behavior would be insufficient sleep or a high sugar diet. Then, too, it could just be a developmental phase.

Being an only child of a single mother can be lonely. Children need other children. If you haven't done so already, arrange time with another mother for your children to play together.

Is she with you all day or is she in some kind of day care.  If so what do her teachers say?
