New IEP/Special Education community started

I just wanted to let everyone that has a child or deals with IEP's/special education in school that I started a new forum.  It is to help anyone that may need support when dealing with the school system and making sure that children are getting the education that they deserve.  We all have many questions and sometimes cannot get the answers needed from the school or administrators.  Some may be confused about the whole IEP process and not know what their rights as a parent or guardian are.  Hope to see you in the new community.

I don't think that they have a link under the forums section.  I am not sure where they keep the new forums that the medhelp users create.  But, I still do have this IEP community open, just did not get any participants.  Hopefully, I will soon.

I think Sunshine 1976 tried to contact you, but I don't know if she was able.
You might try posting IEP tidbits once a week or so just to keep the name up near the top.  My guess is most use will be early and very late in the school year.

Sunshine1976 did contact me and was able to become a member of the new IEP community.  I will definitely keep posting tidbits about the new community so that more people are aware.  Thanks.
