My doctor has just recently changed my prescription from RitalinRitalin Ritalin la Ritalin-sr to Dexamphetamine. I was instructed to decrease the RitalinRitalin Ritalin la Ritalin-sr by one at a time & start the Dexamphetamine with one....now a couple of weeks later, I have decreased the RitalinRitalin Ritalin la Ritalin-sr by 2 & increased the Dex by 2. I am not taking these at the same time...but I am finding the Dex is making me feel dopey & in lala land (or - its not working) I am feeling quite awful...its like I'm on anti-depressants.
Quick thought is that it is working and you are experiencing an overdose of one or the other or both together. At any rate, you need to let your doctor know what is going on!
