Taking my son off of VyVanse

Taking my son off of VyVanse

My son has been on Vyvanse for a year now. We have tried many different medicines and this is the only one that has seeemed to work. We started recently expierencing problems with anxiety and him becoming very edgy and after talking to his doctor they want to put him on another medicine to help the vyvanse. We did this when he was on Concerta too. (it didn't work)  He complains of never eating lunch at school, (which has been since the beginning).
My question is....
he only really needs the medication at school. since he is easily distracted. I see my son as being a totally different person now, constantly moving his mouth, doing these little tic coughs, just feel like I am losing him to this damn medicine. Can I take him off of it? How do I go about telling the doctor and his teachers NO MORE were done with this medicine stuff. Can't I just let him be a 10 year old boy?

We had same problem and finally decided to use the fast acting adderall (adderrall).  It only lasts 4-5 hours and then they can eat more.
