Vyvanse and hemorrhoids

I have been taking Vyvanse for ADD for a few months.  Since taking it I have developed pain associated with bowel movements; hemmorrhoids, pain post bm, blood etc.  I checked for side effects for Vyvanse but aside from stomach pain, and diarrhea no other relatable side effects were shown.  I was curious if anyone taking this medication or similar type of medication has experience this or been able to manage this issue.

I have been on Vyvanse 70mg for years and I just noticed this morning after taking my medication it did not help me at all.  So I decide to check my medication and sure enough it was half full, so I took another one and it worked fine.  13 out of 30 were less than half full, so what am I suppose to do the rest of the month.  Concerned Ky

I have the exact same issue...I have not been able to locate any information online about it. I have had to limit my use of Vyvanse for this reason. It is definitly a side effect of taking this medication. I stop taking it and the symptoms also stop within a few days, the symptoms begin again within two or three days when i start taking the medication again regularly.

Any time you have blood in bowel movements it needs to be checked out by a doctor.  If its coming from the hemorrhoids, that can be worked on.  If its from something else, its deadly serious and something that needs to be dealt with immediately.
Except for the blood part, kind of sounds like you may be constipated.  Increase your fluid intake, take stool softeners, add more fiber to your diet.  Hope this helps :), but do check out where that blood is coming from.
