adderall and sex life

Does anyone know if adderall makes u lose your sex drive im also going off prozac and on wellbutrin,xanax and estridiol  estrogen patch (just added recently)

yea like u r a real dr,i use abbreviations...there is nothing wrong with my intelligence..but i agree in on too many pills...but that wasnt my question....and what would 3 apples do?

It's quite evident from your sentence structure that you are taking one to many medications that are interfering with your ability to communicate.  Now if nobody has noticed a drop in your intelligence lately, then your are simply uneducated and ignorant of the English language.  Nevertheless, all those medications will not help you bring a clear mind to the problems you face in you life.  Eat 3 apples a day instead, drink lots of water and exercise on a regular basis.

Hi I was put on prozac in mach the dr at that time played so much with my doses i was all over the place ,same way with adderall i was put on it for refractory depression,it was to give me energy LOL I have no energy..got a new dr in may cause old one retired he had me try to up prozac and trouble with that so his asso. had me totally stop the prozac and go on wellbutrin sr 150am and pm,,,,after a week i was having prozac withdrawals so back on prozac i went  and still on wellbutrin to be honest i dont know if my depression is something else cause neither brought me  up or were stimulating..my new dt thinks i have slight add..anywayas i have been tapering off the prozac 10 mg a week per dr...and still on the wellbutrin,im finding as i lower the prozac i feel more tired  my adderall is 5 mg in am and 5 mg in pm i cant tell it helps me with energy,,,was hopeful for the patch but i put my last one on and it feel off i had 4 to last a month and i just got them the 23 and they r all gone..it may work fine for u i dont know why nothing gives me energy unless i have more add then dr thinks and it makes me tired..goof luck to u

I've have been on adderall in the past and didnt notice any changes in my sex drive, but anti-depressents like SSRI's(prozac, which I also take), have been known to decrease your sex drive.  You said you were getting off the prozac, a little piece of advice, I stopped taking the prozac so I could see the difference with my sex drive, and there was a drastic change.  But just stopping prozac all together, without a physician's help, and without weaning myself off, I experienced the most horrible withdrawl symptoms.  I am also on wellbutrin for depression/adhd, I have only been on it for about a week now, how is your experience with it? Especially w/ the adhd benefits? I've heard positive feedback about it helping with depression, but nothing really on its effectiveness with adhd.  I just stopped taking vyvanse and was put on this, and was nervous I would have trouble, due to that I'm used to taking the stimulant drugs.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.  Thanx!

I take both wellbutrin & adderal.
I started the adderal months after the wellbutrin.
In my personal experience, I did not notice any reduction in sex drive with the wellbutrin.
But I did notice less sex drive (& overall emotional sensitivity) on 20mg or more of non time release adderal.

I don't know for sure about adderall but I'm pretty sure that anti-depressants like prozac do lower your sex drive.  I think Wellbutrin is one though that is not supposed to have that side effect.  Hopefully between that and the patch you'll get to feeling normal again soon.  I wish you luck.
