adhd medication and glucose levels

Hello,I wanted to know if there is a possibility that vyvanse can spike my glucose levels? My father is a diabetic.I've always tested betweeen 70 and 80 while fasting, and now that I started taking these meds for adhd I tested at 107.Which really freaked me out.I also tested my glucose yesterday morning and I was at 99.I had breakfast and tested myself again at 10:40 which was 2 hours after having breakfast and my numbers were 121.Well today I tested again and was at 105.What the heck is going on should I get an FPG test?I forgot to mention that on these 2 days I didn't take my meds till after the first test just to make sure it was the medication throwing me off,but now I'm not so sure. The medication does make me extremly restless and shaky.Need some help please:(

I'm sorry you don't have an answer for this yet. I have no information and my attempt to find some yielded nada. My initial impression is to say no as the lack of even false and misleading information on this connection is not even there but this is just circumstantial evidence of course.
Make an appointment with your doctor and have him/her check your theory out.            Hopefully someone who knows something more substantial on this will comment.
  Good luck.

Thanks you for your comment.I really do hope I can get an answer, for whats happening to me,but my best bet is just to stay calm about it and not freak out so much.So far I've been told that madication can raise glucose levels and blood pressure as well, that's just the way the body copes with unknown meds especially this types of drugs. But so far I'm still a little scared.
              Thanks once again,

I am also insulin dependent diabetic, but if my levels were only escalated to 121,I would be extatic! I would worry about being 121 rather than 70-80 because 70-80 is rather low friend,Wayne
