My 7 year old son was dignosed with Sever ADHD and ODD at the age of 3 1/2 and every year we have him retested... every day we struggle with his ups and downs and never know when he will explode so its like tipy toeing around him.
Im not sure of the Abreviations that you are using but I do know that a solid schedual, eating plan and love and most of all paitence is the key to subsiding the pressures for your child, by all means im no proffessional but since my son has been going through this I havent stop seeking help his school is awesome and extremly supportive with us we have Child aduolences involved and they open alot of doors for you.. I dont know if your child is medicated I know alot of people dont believe in it as I didnt but now my son is on the right kind of meds with the proper attention from the doctors...he is doing well..he is still acting like a child not a zombie and he is able to smile now like he couldnt before...I would like to know more as for your son is older if posible...

Hi Darlene.....My son who is 10 was diagnosed with a Nvld at age 8 and ADHD at age 9.  It is a never ending struggle to help him.  We are fortunate that we live in a big city and have access to services....but the problem is knowing what services to access .  I will now have him retested at age 11 so we can provide current  information to the school he attends as it appears now that he is in the upper school at the same school they seem to be cluless as to what he needs.  Find a good psychologist and work with him closley and don't be afraid to provide as much information about ADHD and NVLD to your school.  My son attends a private school and we have found it helpful to have a psychologist or psychiatrist present information  at meetings at school.  It is expensive but for some reason they seen to listen and do something to help when someone from the outside tells them the same information.  We have also tried numerous ADHD medicines with some sucess .  I am not completley comfortable with this.... but school seems satisfied with his classroom behavior when he is taking medicine. Some days everything works great and then the next you need to find alternative strategies to help your child. Your son is young so I encourage you to begin occupational therapy as soon as you can.....my son received occupational therapy  services from the age of 2 until about 6 .....You may find your son will have issues with handwriting as well as sports.  Cccupational therapy helped my son tremendously in these areas.  Good Luck.
