how close is bipolar to add??

i heard they were almost on the same wave?? is this true??

No they are not the same condition.  A person may be bi-polar and have ADD or bi-polar and not have ADD.  Many people have ADD and are not bi-polar.  I agree with teacher4life that many of the symptoms are very similar.  That's why it can be so hard to get a good diagnosis.

I have been diagnosed with both, but Straterra did me the most good.  bi-polar meds don't do much for me.  But, many symptoms are the same in both, or close.  And I've been told by Dr that they frequently go together.  At best, can't tell which symptom goes with which.
