Are any of you veterans? This is very important info about vets with symptoms or ALS diagnosis.
My “pawpaw” (grandfather) is hardly over 60 years old. He served in the Vietnam war. When we found out that he had ALS, the family didn’t know what to do about medical coverage. Incase any of you are in that same situation, and you served in our country, first I would like to personally thank you, and also let you know, THE GOVERNMENT OWES YOU BIG TIME! Go to the VA and talk to someone from the DRA (Disability Resource Association). Please let them help you find resources you need to find coverage, also if you sprayed agent orange… MAKE SURE THEY KNOW. That is potentially related to this terrible disease.
