Hello i am 16 years old and would like to start by saying that i am a hypochondriac and i have been have been experiencing some things that have been troubling me lately. Lately i have noticed the my legs and my thighs, espically my left leg, has been somewhat "sore" and have had a heavy feeling in them. They have been feeling weaker and just not normal. I really haven't been do any grueling physical activity either. Also i have a felt a slight shake or tremble in my right hand. Now i have been freaking out that i have ALS because it would be ridiculous because i am so young but lately i have been caught in the stupid task of "googling" my symptoms and reading articles about ALS. As i said before i am a hypochondriac, which i get from my mother, and i know it is very likely that fear and stress are making myself feeling worse but i need closure. If there are any experts of ALS or people with similar stress related situations as me it would be greatly appreciated if i can get some advice. Thank you for taking the time to read my post!

You need to go to the Doctor, just to be on the safe side.My husband was just diagnosed with ALS last week. I definately know why you would feel scared. You could possibly have some anxiety going on i myself have been battling that for awhile. My husband started slurring his words about a year ago.I myself am not going to take als as a diagnoses because it is to rare and its always misdiagnosed.
