Mom had ALS - now I have 2 dents on thighs!

  Dear Expert;
  I am a 27 year old pretty healthy female. My mom died last year from ALS (it was actually pneumonia and hospital infection, but she had a developed case of ALS). I worry because I have one indentation on each thigh, the first one appeared way over a year ago, and I the second one came a few months ago... all of the other hypothesis (steroid shot, accident, injections of any sort) are ruled out since I had none of these... I don't have health insurance right now as I'm unemployed, so I can't see a specialist until I'm working again... how concerned do I need to be about this?

I don't know where you live. But most places have a local health clinic that you can go to that cost little or nothing. Look up your local health department and call them.
