Neurology

My MRI reports low lying cerebellar tonsils without chiari malformation.  I experience posterior headaches and neck pain with occasional nausea and dizzyness.  I have no ringing in the ears but feel like there is pressure in my head most of the time.  I am on prozac for depression and seroquel for bi-polar but feel my problems are more physical than mental.  I have seen a Neurologist but he doesn't think my problems are from the low lying tonsils.  I would appreciate any comments about where I should go from here.

Hi,...the issues r that there r too many drs that feel chiari or low lying tonsils can not be symptomatic....

But, those  of us with this issue have a mirid of symptoms and they can not find out y....u really need to be seen by a true chiari specialist to be sure what is going on and rule it out.

We do have a chiari forum here on MedHelp-http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Chiari-Malformation/show/257?camp=msc
