magnesium absorption

For the last few days twitching all over my body started to appear.  Usually when I get a twitch it goes away on its own but now it's all over and it's making me anxious.....keeps me awake at night.  I started doing some research and found if your not getting enough calcium,  magnesium  doesn't absorb as easily.  Well, I recently stopped using milk and try to avoid cheese and dairy if possible.  I also have been eating a lot of nuts like almonds and walnuts.

It seems very simple but I'm thinking the cause of my twitching is due to increased levels magnesium without the calcium to absorb it.

Does this evaluation sound like it's a possible reason to my twitching problem?
