Nursegirl has hit the Nail on the head, I learned the Hard way and several prescribed Drugs had a bad effect on me so I took control ,I am still struggling but I have reasearched and there are Natural Remedies and Ideas for a lot of Ailments out there, What you diont get told when they prescribe the Drugs is the interaction and a lot of the side effects are not on the DX either.I understand your feelings the way to make it better is to do it your self and not rely on the' Professional' people to do it for you.
I'm sorry to hear you are going through a rough time, but to be honest, in the end, the burden of the responsibility lies with the PATIENT to educate themselves on any new med...know what they are taking and why...any harmful side effects, etc etc.
This is why they always ask you when you pick up a Rx at the Pharmacy if you have any questions, and why they provide you with an education monograph for each and every medication that is prescribed to you. You really ARE supposed to read those things! (LOL...not many do, I know)
I know that isn't what you want to hear, but really...everyone must be responsible for their own health and safety...and must work WITH the docs in forming decisions on what meds to take, what they are for, etc....
If you are ever Rx'ed a new drug...ask a lot of questions...and do a little bit of research before you start taking it.
Best of luck to you!
