Nikki, it's very hard to tell what's going on here. I think sometimes people appear in the emergency rooms with such unusual stories, and in sort of a state of panic, that they aren't taken seriously. I can't even picture what a coil of blood could even look like, or what could possibly cause it.
So now, you have yeast or bacteria (these are opposites, and treating one causes an overgrowth of the other, which is often treated then) infection that keeps recurring.
And you also have green stool, which isn't melena. Melena is black stool, it's black as black and tarry. You wouldn't mistake it for green.
Green stool can be caused by a number of things, one of which is antibiotic use, or also overgrowth of bacteria in the intestines, which treating yourself orally for yeast could cause.
So. From here, I think you need to pare down your story to make it understandable by a medical professional, and not absolutely overwhelming.
I would leave out the rape. Rape or consensual sex, doesn't change the physical symptoms you dealt with. I think right now, when you go in to the doctor, you need to deal with the physical, in as clear and calm a voice as you can.
Start with saying you have a complicated history, and several symptoms are a concern. You've had ongoing yeast/bacterial vaginal infections beginning 4 years ago when you first had sex and ended up in the emergency room nearly bleeding to death. That was undiagnosed and unresolved.
Now, you have consistent green stool and are now also concerned about a stomach/digestive problem.
Leave everything else out at first, it becomes overwhelming to hear about coils of blood and rape and stomach cancer. I don't think it will help zone in on your physical problems.
Best wishes.
Oh and I had anemia and hypothyroid before the rape
