early emotional abuse

I would like to ask if a mother insults her father's baby in front of her baby for such things as he picked up the phone to talk with his own mother ( the babies granddaughter ) isn't that considered child abuse? I mean the child is given this tension moments simply because the mother wants to insult the father...till what extension can I invoke this juridically to prevent that she stops doing that and by that preventing my child to feel guilty or have any emotional disorders.
Thanks in advance.

Can you explain further what the abuse was, she picked up the phone? did she say something bad to you, I am not certain but it sounds as if you should just ask her not to do something if it makes you uncomfortable and explain to her why.
