what do i do???

iam 17 years old.have abusive mother and step father.have 2 younger sisters who are also abused.have a great relationship with boyfriend.his family supports me,because my parents are low on money.mother wants to move to mexico.i dont want to go,so she threatens me.i dont want to turn her in because i love her,so sometimes i feel like i have to runaway.but what about my sisters?.im so confused...help me.

What form does the abuse take can you tell us? are both parents abusive .IOnce you are 18 you can leave by law, if the abuse to your sisters is ongoing I would think you can go to the authorities, it will be hard for you to leave them there, You need some advice are you at schoo, is there a counselor /advisor you can speak to, you call call the CPS anonimously for further information. let us know how you are doing .Parhaps confide in the BFs parents and get support there.

When you say abusive, what are you talking about? There are many forms of abuse. Physical, Sexual, Emotional? I agree, you are 17 years old and at 18 you make your own decisions. And they do have school counselors available and many other outlets. I hesitate to give a minor advice without knowing the whole story. Even tho it is the internet, things can come back to bite.  I would suggest to you tho, to share your concerns with the school counselor and have a sit down with your mom about moving and try to work that out between you. Running away is not an option. The news is full of young people who run away and are found raped and/or murdered not to mention the streets are full of them. Keep us posted as to what goes on.

If this is physical abuse I think you could ask a counselor about calling the authorities before you leave home and leave your sisters there, you didnt say what the abuse was .so it is hard to get the full picture,never the less by coming here you asked for advice, mine is that you need some help to sort it out ..Good luck
