A Clear Connection

See this is it... The frustration between people knowing that diet affects their acne and having experts tell them there is no scientific evidence that diet can cause acne should end now.

I have just spent the past half an hour reading how diet can affect acne and I have found so many articles... caffeine and acne, refined sugars and high glycemic foods and acne, alcohol and acne...  it just goes on and on.

The reason why some people can drink milk and not get acne, is because there is a genetic component to acne as well.

If you have that genetic predisposition to have acne then you're just going to have to do what it takes to make you feel better about yourself! Change your diet.

But really you are what you eat either way and at least this can be a great way to motivate you to steer clear of unhealthy foods.
