ACNE Probelm on face

Hi doctor,

I have more pimple on my face especially on chin & forehead, once pimple got cured it forms like dark spot.
At present i consulted dermatologists she preferred ADAPELENE GEL 0.1% past one week i am using this cream, Is this good for my face are it will give any side effect because previously i was used KOJIVIT for Darkness problem.

Kindly advice me can i use ADAPALENE GEL are not.

Hi. Differin (adapalene 0.1%) is an excellent choice for acneic skin. It clears acne and blackheads and is generally well tolerated with few side effects. We would expect to see a clinical improvement in your skin within 4-8 weeks and further improvement with continued use. So be patient and continue to apply the gel each night. If excess dryness or peeling occurs reduce usage to every other night and gradually build back up to nightly use.
If your skin becomes sensitive use a gentle cleanser such as Cetaphil or La Roche-Posay. If your skin is greasy use a good cleanser for greasy skin such as Estee Lauder's Sparkling Clean Cleanser.
If you warrant it, an oral antibiotic such as Oxytetracycline 250mg twice daily can be used in conjunction with Differin. Talk to your doctor about this if your skin does not improve as quickly as outlined above.
