About atrophic macules (post acné scars)

Acné is no longer a problem for me, but now I have to deal with the scars left by it.

After a lot of research in the internet I discovered that the kind of acné ecars I have is called atrophic macules and are small blood vesels beneath the skin and should be able to vanish in a few months, I went to a dermatologist and he told me the same thing: just wait some months. Well it's been three years since then and I see no changes whatsoever.

I want to know some tip or method to accelerate the healing process, I heard drinking wather helps, but aparently it's not working for me.

I've been using Erythromycin to controll acne (very successfully, by the way) and I'd like to know if that culd be stoping my scars from fadding.


This is a pricture of how my skin looks. Oh, and the spots are more red-ish; for some reason my camera doesn't detect that color very well.
