Accutane

What are some symptoms telling me that my accutane is working. I've been on it for a week but nothing has really been happening. (my acne is mild) Can you tell me some side effects that I may have to show me that it's working. Thank you

It is totally normal to see no difference after a week.
Accutane virtually always results in excellent or total skin clearance after 16-24 weeks. Each patient is different, but many see a major improvement after 12 weeks, so be patient.
The most common side effect of Accutane is dry lips, so use Vaseline or Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream. You may also experience a temporary worsening of acne ("initial breakout") before your skin starts to clear.
