Accutane and Yasmin?

by gr18, Oct 23, 2008 06:21PM
I just got prescribed today 40mg Accutane and the birth control Yasmin for my acne... I am so scared and nervous. Not going to start it for awhile. So afraid Accutane will be horribly bad and I will die! haha.. my acne is not very severe, but it is there.. not cystic acne but still very annoying, never going away, acne none the less. Can anyone help? Accutane good? bad? Yasmin good bad? Has anyone ever tried both like I am?? Help :( so afraid

Hi. Don't be nervous. Your doctor has decided that the potential side effects of your medication are out-weighed by the benefit of having clear skin. Your doctor will do any necessary blood tests during your treatment.
I have taken Accutane and Dianette (similar to Yasmin). Please read my journal and see my photographs. Get back to me with any questions.
Best Wishes, Eloise.
