Accutane and rare, minor rectal bleeding

by crono4, Sep 28, 2009 05:23PM
I was on one course of accutane (well...I am certain I wasnt on it more than a month) about four or five years ago. The blood tests and everything came through well, but since the beginning Ive sometimes found a bit of a bright, red blood stain on the toilet paper after making stool, once a week at most. Upon a second wipe, nothing is there. I never thought much of it, and theres been nothing else of concern to my health, so I dismissed it as an insignificant tear or something (due to dryness or whatever I dunno, but theres no other problem other than seeing that). Did I mention this to the doctor...ah, it was so long ago. But, of course, I had to visit certain websites about rare accutane side-effects.
