Accutane may not work

So I went to the doctor today. Now im on my 6th month, face still not clear. She switched me from Claravis to Sotret. I told he my concerns about my "non clearing skin" and she said that I might be one of the few that this medicine doesn't work for!! OMG im panicky now! Im not talking people who have been on it and it came back, im talking it never went away. Could this be??

Hi. As we've discussed before, Accutane results in excellent or total skin clearance after one course, in 80% of cases. The remaining 20% (including myself) warrant a second or third course.
No medicine is guaranteed to work for 100% of patients. However, I have never met anyone for whom Accutane did nothing.
What is your dermatologist's plan for if your skin has not cleared after 24 weeks?

Starting a second course. However if it still looks they way it does now, she thinks a second course may not work either. She agrees, my face looks the same as when I started. I know people take more then 1 course, usually this is when your acne comes back after clearing for a short time...mine has never cleared.
