Accutane

I have been debating starting this treatment but the side-affects and controversy has got me a little spooked.
My questions is if i take a Vitamin A Supplement will i get any of the benefits of Accutane?

i don't think the vitamin A is going to get the results that accutane will. but, do yourself a favor....get turmeric (an inexpensive indian spice) in capsule form from your local health food store. take four capsules a day with two extra glasses of water above what you drink now. after two weeks cut back to two capsules a day for two more weeks and see what happens.

it's worth trying before going on accutane. trust me. i went through THREE courses and my acne came back. turmeric has been the only thing that's cured my acne.

keeping my fingers crossed. i'm just so excited i have to tell everyone about the turmeric. i hope that people benefit from it like i have.

to think...i've spent thousands of dollars on acne treatment, and i had the cure in my kitchen cabinet the entire time! :P

good luck!

i would try alternative products before trying accutane. While different things work for different people, i think its worth trying several products before going the accutane route

i initially took the turmeric for cysts on the inside of my leg. it worked overnight on them. it took the turmeric for approx three weeks to a month for my acne to go away (i kept taking the turmeric to keep the cysts away and didn't realize my face was clear until three weeks later. and it hasn't returned since.

be sure and drink LOTS of water or the turmeric will constipate you.

also, try benzomycin gel on your face at night. seemed to work in keeping my skin from being so oily. i still use it three nights a week. you need an prescription for this.

imho, anything is worth trying before resorting to accutane. just be patient and see if what worked for me works for you.
