My daughter is 15 and has acne, I have try a few over the counter acne products, and nothing works. I would really like to stop spending money on products that don't what they claim. Please help
I'm 17 and have acne all my life. I understand how you and your daughter feel.
Sometimes people have really stubborn acne that just doesn't go away. (Like mine)
For me, I've tried creams, cleansers, and ProActive. None of it helped.
personally, My parents decided to sign up for Accutane. It is a drug that almost always takes away acne forever. It's a five month session where you swallow 2 pills a day. I'm on my third month, and it has worked wonders. (Although it does have some side affects)

I would reccommend just making sure her face is washed twice daily, to keep it under control. And remember to remind her that she is beautiful no matter what. For acne sufferers, this is the best thing to hear.

*BUT: you cannot take this unless you are suffering from VERY severe acne.
AND: you cannot have sexual intercourse if you are on this medication
AND: you have to obtain this through a professional dermatologist*
