Acne All My Life

I am 23 years old and have had acne ever since I hit puberty.  I'm currently on my 10th round of accutane.  Yes, 10th round.  I normally do 3 or 6 month treatments of it, and after a while my acne does decrease a lot, but then once I stop it comes right back.  This most recent round my acne is still flaring 3 months into treatment, and it is so frustrating.  I see a dermatologist regularly, and I've tried most everything.  I've taken all sorts of antibiotics as well as spirolactone and every topical treatment available.  I was on a birth control pill for a year and my acne was the best it has ever been, almost gone, but I then had a blood clot and I cannot take estrogen or hormones ever again.

I'm really sick of this and I do everything my dermatologist says to do, but I've been doing that for years and I STILL have acne.  It is normally on my cheeks, mouth, and chin areas.

Does anyone have any ideas what I could do?

it sounds like you are already doing the BEST advice. Some acne is just stubborn and the only other thing I could suggest, if you are not already doing, is a Derm MD at one of the big teaching hospitals for a second opinion.
