Hello,
I am an 18 year old male, I had severe acne and went onto minocyclineMinocycline Minocycline hydrochloride Minocycline hydrochloride er for about a year now. I can tell my faceFace pain is quite a bit better, but not yet comfortable. I was wondering if tetrocycline would work. What is the difference and what would happen if I were on that? Do you have any other thoughts? Thank you! -Chad
It is usually better to perserve with one antibiotic rather than switch to another one, except in the case of adverse reaction or relapse from clear skin.
Continue with your tablets and ask your doctor for a topical synthetic retinoid like Differin gel for use in conjunction with oral minocycline, to clear the remaining stubborn acne.
