Acne Medications

My daughter became violently ill several weeks ago.  Doctors said she had Hepatitis, although she tested negative for Hepatitis A & B.  Bloodwork tests showed very elevated liver enzymes (AST & ALT in the thousands) which her piediatrician thinks was caused by the Solodyne or Oracea acne medicine she was taking.  She has been off the oral antibiotics for 3-4 weeks and her liver enzymes are returning to normal.  She is still taking birth control to control, but her acne is coming back.  The oral antibiotics and birth control were controlling her acne perfectly, and now she is upset that the acne is returning.  Can she ever return to these oral antibiotics?  What are the alternatives to control her acne.  What about acutane or spironolactone-it sounds like they can be hard on the liver too?  Also, what type of doctor would be best to address my daughter's situation-a dermatologist, a liver specialist or a endrocronologist?

Continue with the birth control pills, Dianette (Diane35) is the best for preventing acne. Try a topical antibiotic like clindamycin or a topical retinoid like Differin. Loiloi xx

does anyone have any information about treating acne scars. I have been using makeup for years and am tired of dealing with it. What are some good treatments for moderate/pit-like scarring. General pricing??
              Thanks
