Acne is becoming more common amongst adult women, and stopping birth control can be a factor. I do not recommend herbal remedies none would make up for the hormones you have stopped taking. Just because something is natural does not mean it will work, or that you won't have a bad reaction to it. Why did you stop taking birth control? If it is because you are trying to conceive you will not be able to take the remedies i am about to recommend, as they may be passed onto the baby and be harmful. However, the good news is that acne usually improves during pregnancy especially in the second and third trimester.
Assuming you are not trying to conceive, pregnant or breastfeeding these are good products for acne:
If you do not have health insurance the best treatment available from drugstores is a relatively new product called Freederm, use the antibacterial wash and the treatment gel.
If you do have insurance, dermatologists have found the most effective prescription gel to be Differin, especially when used in conjunction with oral treatment. Oral antibiotics for acne are lymecycline, oxytetracycline or erythromycin.
If you are going to go back on the pill, use an anti-androgen one such as Yasmin or Diane35. Do not take the progesterone only mini-pill or get the Depo shot as these can make acne worse.
If you are reluctant to take tablets book a consultation with a laser skin clinic which offers therapy such as NLite. Let me know how you get on. Loiloi x

I have heard that Vitex or Chaste Berry can help with acne. It is a natural herb and also help with regulating you period especially after getting off of the pill.I have just started taking it about 2 weeks ago to help bring on my period after having a miscarriage in Nov  2007. It's worth a try if you ask me. The bottle of 90 tablets was under $10.00. But it may take up to 2 months to get into your system.

Hope this helps :)
