Acne from Poison Ivy Shot

I had Poison Ivy/Oak and went to the doctor and he gave me a shot 3-4 weeks ago and now I have bad acne all over my back/shoulders and arms. Do you believe the shot may have caused the acne? What can I do to clear it up?

Hi. We don't have poision ivy here in the UK. What kind of injection did you receive? If it was a steroid such as Prednisone or hydrocortisone (used to relieve severe allergic reactions) then this may have caused acne.
Clinique make a body wash and chest & back spray which contains salicylic acid which will help clear up acne.
