Acne in my back

Hello there guys,
i have had acne for more then 5 years now, in my face and all over my back. i was in treatment for more then 4 years, now my face has cleared and most of the acne in my back has gone, But i still do have scars in my back of the acnes and its really bad, i have never ever been naked in front of someone due to now feeling very confident and what people might think of me. i have stoped using the tables because i have really bad side effects, such as really dry skin.
speaking to the doctor about the laser treatments he has told me that its a weast of money because it wont work and the scars wont go away? is that correct! and is there anyone that has done any laser treatments and was succesfull, id love to hear your story,

I know your not supposed to do this but...I exfoliate EVERYDAY and follow that with moisturizer EVERYDAY and sometimes more if I'm looking dry. You're peeling your top layer of skin off, so the scars go away faster than usual, or atleast they have with me. I have one bump right now and that's because lately I've been lazy but the only reason i might even get a bump anywhere is because I rushed my routine!
And about the body acne, I'm doing the same thing! I use a body glove, I get them at the 99cent store and scrub really good like 5 times with it EVERYWHERE! especially my back because I have extremely oily skin. I use a strong soap like irish spring or ivory. And I use lots of moisturizer!
The laser treatment is gonna cost you like 2 thousand bucks for something that can be done naturally...try this first and if it doesnt work then I don't know...
