hi i am 26 and have suffered from acne since 14. do you have cystic acne? thats the kind where they are real big. if so, try accutane. its a very serious medication but it does get rid of like 80 percent cystic acne. also. I've tried every face wash and zit treatment too! and nothing seemed to work. my derm says to use cetaphil face wash. its real gentle and also the moisturizer because its important that the skin doesnt get to dry, and if it looks oily on you then only use it at night. drink lots of water. they say 1 cup per every hour.

Hi,
for bad acne, antibiotics like Erythromycin, clindamycin and tetracycline are used usually in conjuction with benzoyl peroxide. Sometimes retinoids like Tretinoin, adapaline, retinol and isotretinoin are also used. For very severe acne like cystic acne isotretinoin is the only cure. Yes, Accu' is good as well.
Thanks,
Thomas
