Adult Acne

Hi I just recently turned 25 years old and had nice skin! About 3 weeks ago my face completly broke out in all these very tiny zit-like things. At first I thought it was from female "monthly" visitor, than it never went away after that. Than I figured it was an allergic reaction to my make up sp I switched make up to stuff I used in the past. My skin is still really really bad and it seems more like a reaction of some sorts because they dont really form or pop like regular zits. I dont have health insurance to see a DR so would someone please please please help me figure out a way to get rid of this and tell me what it may be???? Thank you so so so much!!!

Hi. If this is allergic contact dermatitis you will benefit from switching to a very bland cleanser such as Physiological by La Roche-Posay (order it online if you can't get it in a store near you). Eucerin is another good brand for reactive skin.
Use mineral make-up in the future which is suitable for sensitive skin. Estee Lauder and clinique both make good mineral foundations and powder make-up.
Taking an antihistamine tablet will also help if this is an allergic reaction. These are available without prescription, ask the pharmacist for advice.
