Adult acne that doesn't go away

Hi I am a 25 year old male with mild acne I used to have cystic acne before being on minomicine for 3 years roaccutaine twice(had to be taken off because of severe side effects) and 7 treatments of laser treatments. My concerns are that it is something more seriouse or something I'm just not picking up on my diets pretty good and there is no over the counter product I haven't tried. I have run out of all options and no one seems to know what it is or why it just won't go away. I've had bad acne since I was 14 it has gotten better but I'm embarrassed by it and just want it gone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi, I know someone a male friend that had SIMILAR issues like You.  He had the Tetracycline, Doxycycline, All the Creams, RetinA, Differin, Sulfer Washes. Then he did the 2 Courses of Accutane and also had to stop because of Side effects... What were your Side Effects if You don't mind me asking, seems quite a few people who took this drug got some Pretty BAD ones and I know some of his are still with him 2 years later.. He also has a Good diet takes care of himself, etc...They are looking into his THYROID now seems that could be an Issue associated with the Acne... Remember your HORMONES Control a lot... So if the Thyroid is producing too much or too little, then that might be the cause (Making Hormones all out of Whack).. I would Suggest that You have Your Thyroid Tested, never know could be that causing your problem... Give it a SHOT, after all You have Tried EVERYTHING else it seems... GOOD LUCK...Let me know how you make out!!!

this may seem inappropriate to post, but i believe you may be masturbating too much?. there is a link between loss of vitamin e and other minerals/vitamins through ejaculation (more specifically, loss of semen). try cutting it out completely or limiting it to once a week and see if your acne gets better. good luck!

Hi

I posted a while ago about having cystic and mild adult acne and all the problems I went through since I was a teenager. I think I finally found the answer. I went to a natropath  and found that gluten is a big cause for acne. I have always had terrible IBS from all the antibiotics and medication I've been on. People with adult acne may find that they are either gluten or lactose intolerant so try to stay away from dairy and gluten products. I was recommended to take probiotics nourishing floura and my acne has completely clear still get them occasionally after big weekends of partying though
