AfterWorkout

I am a sophomore going to high school and playing football.
Every morning I get up and cleanse my face and shoulders with Rosula, dry my face, apply .1% Tazorac gel, and then add a CeraVe Moisturizer cream on top of that.  This helps greatly, for just regular acne, which can get quite bad without these treatments.  After applying all of this stuff in the morning, I go to morning weightlifting and sweat quite a bit.  I know that you shouldn’t just let the sweat sit, as it is not good for acne (and also smells), but can I just take a small shower and rinse the sweat off without affecting/washing off the treatment that I just applied 1 1/2 hours before the second shower/rinse off?  Also, football gear causes frictional acne and leaves bacteria from sweat on the gear, so I was wondering what I could put in my helmet or on my skin to keep from getting acne this way?  All the information I can get would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
mpuvdd

Could you apply your preparations after a shower after workout? This would give them a much better chance of working.
It may not just be the sweat contributing to your acne, hormonal acne is common at your age. Speak to your doctor if it persists or becomes worse. A course of oral antibiotics or a topical synthetic retinoid gel such as Differin may be indicated.
