Chest Acne & Meds to Use while Pregnant?

Hello!  I've had pretty clear skin all my life, then when I hit 27 (I'm 30 now) I started having small breakouts on my face but tons of my chest. I've never had this problem on my chest until now.  I've gone to a determologist and been on Doxycycline and Benza Cline which helped my face, but didn't help my chest acne at all. I'm trying to get pregnant now so I had to go off of all of the prescription medicines so my chest acne is worse than ever.

Does anyone have any suggestions for something I could use that is safe while trying to get pregnant and once I become pregnant?

Unfortunately it is not desirable to use any topical or oral antibiotic during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless absolutely essential. Small amounts could be passed onto the baby and be harmful. However, the good news is that your skin is likely to improve during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimester. Good luck, Loiloi xx
