Comedones vs. antibiotics

As I understand it, antibiotics or other treatments that either kill of inhibit bacteria within a plugged follicle do not really prevent new plugs to form, am I correct?

If this is true, should one expect more and more plugged follicles developing  as the antibiotic treatment continues? (with a natural consequence of more simultaneous comedones as the treatment is stopped).

Can a plugged follicle become unplugged with time (without comedo formation)?

Thanks......
