Differin and Waxing

I use differin on my face, and want to get my eyebrows waxed soon. Because in the past my skin has been left raw due to waxing and the use of differin. How long should I wait without using the topical cream in order for my skin to be left ok?

Do you get acne by your eyebrows or could you avoid application to this area?
It is hard to answer your question as the side-effects of a retinoid like Differin will vary from patient to patient. Some patients may experience sensitised skin up to 6 months after completing treatment with a retinoid.
Use a bland cleanser such as Physiological gel by La Roche-Posay and, if irritation does occur try Clinique's Urgent Relief cream from their Redness Solutions range.
Consider plucking your eyebrows instead. Wash your face in warm water first to open the pores. Apply Vaseline or Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream to making plucking easier and prevent irritation.
