Dry spot on the cheeks!

by wjdtoadl, Oct 25, 2009 07:34PM
All my life, i've been told over and over again that i have a good skin.  Everyone use to rub my cheeks and said it felt like baby's bottom.  But I've noticed starting about early September, I've been getting really dry spots here and there on my cheeks.  When people look at my face, they can't really notice the dry spots unless its felt.  It just looks like it is ashy or crispy.  I've tried aleo, and put planty of moisturizing cream every night.  I dont know what else i can do!
I want to know if there is way to get my old skin back and to get rid of the dry, chipped, and ashy spots!

p.s. i dont know if this helps but last summer, i went kind of burned my face a bit at the beach. it wasn't too bad. It turned red for about 5 minutes and it was gone.

Hi. There are lots of good products for dry skin. I like La Roche-Posay and Cetaphil.
Taking vitamins A, C and E may benefit skin as will Zinc supplements. Drinking a shot of Aloe Vera juice daily may also help.
You may wish to repost this question in The Dermatology Forum, as I am only an expert on Acneic skin -which is oily not dry.
Eloise.
