Dry tight skin

I always have dry tight skin after my face has been washed or i have a shower. I make sure the waters not to hot and i put moisturizer on after its been wet but its still real tight and ****. Its like sensetive? I even drink heap of water but nothing is working for me. Does this happen to anyone else and what do they do that ACTUALLY works??

What kind of cleanser do you use? Many bar soaps are just too drying and will leave your face tight and stripped of essential natural oils and any soaps with acne medication like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide are harsh and drying as well.

So instead, use body washes and shower gels that moisturize (Dove body wash etc.) and using a very mild facial soap such as Cetaphil. You could also try natural oils like buying some organic Jojoba oil or coconut oil and rubbing it on yourself before or after a shower.

If all that doesn't work and it's still bothersome, try seeing a dermatologist about it.

happends to me all the freaking time. normally i bath in baby oil the night before so when I hop in the shower my skin comes out fine. but remember to pat dry your skin dont rub when your drying that makes it feel like *** plus it also makes it tight.
