Duac and Differin--face feels cold and tingles

I've been using Duac and Differin (Duac in the AM, Differin at night) for 2.5 weeks. Starting today, my skin feels cold and tingly on my face (enough so that it is really distracting). My skin doesn't look red. Is this a normal reaction? Should I be concerned? I called the pharmacist, and he told me to check with the doctor on Monday, but I'm nervous.

Hi. Duac contains benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin, and Differin is a topical retinoid. It is not usually advisable to use both together as this increases the chance of side effects. If your skin feels uncomfortable don't use your preparations today (Sunday) and check with your doctor on Monday. You may be advised to just use one product.
